Imagine, this setting...

  • One beautiful spring day.
  • 7 screaming, excited girls, most around the age of 6.
  • A craft project decorating baseball caps with puffy paint.
  • Princess themed paper plates and cups and a cake shaped like a bunny.

It should prove to be an interesting afternoon.

UPDATE: The day was absolutely gorgeous and the party was a smashing success. Below is a photo of the girls decorating their caps.

I had to comment. Your post triggered a great memory.
A while back a friend had a birthday party for her 6 year old (she's an incredible brainiac). Basically, I was in charge of distracting/entertaining the kids so that the moms could do the real work.

Kids are great. If you let them, they'll help keep you young.
