Is that a small hard drive in your pocket?

Phil over at Among Other Things found this picture of an iPod Mini hard drive which makes me all giggly inside for some reason...

Damn, that's a *small* hard drive!

Seems to me bogus.
It's actually the drive that should go in production late this year / 2005.

Suddenly, the idea that I have a 256MB USB drive in my pocket makes me feel so, well, ... unmanly....

No idea if it's for real or not, but it's close enough to the scale that would be necessary for the iPod mini that I'm willing to take it at face value.

I'm waiting for the day I can carry around a pocketful of those things.

This drive is made by Toshiba, and will be available by next year
