Sure, now that you only post about referral logs. ;-)
BTW, I spit on your new "blue book" banner. I cursed that evil book every time I had to use it last semester in media law research. Of course, it's a couple of steps in hades above the Satan spawn Kate Turabian's mish-mosh of citation rules.
Posted by: bryan at February 29, 2004 08:08 PMHey, how come my comments don't show up?
Posted by: bryan at February 29, 2004 08:09 PMTwo responses....
re: The Bluebook - the law school I am at requires using it as opposed to the ALWD, which is allegedly easier to use. The pain in the you-know-where aspect of the Bluebook is the fact that I have to use it to write simulated legal memoranda rather than for academic papers. The Bluebook is geared towards academic writing, and thusly I have to convert the cite style.
re: Blog Comments - I have mt.cgi set on a delay, so as to dissuade crapflooders.
Posted by: joy at February 29, 2004 09:33 PMThat will do nothing to dissuade them, because they all just use an automated script anyway. It's really not that hard to form a POST request which will post a random comment to a random weblog entry.
Posted by: fluffy at February 29, 2004 09:54 PMWell, fluffy, since I instituted the delay, I haven't had to deal with any crapflooding other than the easily removable random comment.
So, it's either I'm really boring (read: need to post more pics of myself) or something is working.
Posted by: joy at February 29, 2004 10:55 PMOr maybe the crapflooders have moved on for whatever reason. Who knows. When I had MT comment spam going on, it always came in waves.
