Why do you have to click on the Start Button to Shut Down?

Also, if one placed a Shut Down button near the Start button, you'd have plenty of people who clicked on the Shut Down button accidentally. (Believe me, after observing lots of new computer users, I know that would happen.) It's better that one needs to click START>SHUT DOWN, since one has to click in two different places.

It's better than the old 3 fingered salute Ctrl+Alt+Delete > Alt+s

Whilst we are on it - keyboard shortcut of the day... Shift+Backspace = Deletes a whole word
