Do these pants make my butt look big?

I happened to take a look at my blog from a Windows machine running IE 6. Apparently the right hand navigation menu is pushed all the way to the bottom of the page. The stupid thing is that the blog validates 99% of the HTML.

Can anyone confirm the issue with IE 6? From what I know, this blog looks fine in Safari, Firefox on OS X, Firefox on Windows.

BTW, my butt is big.

    Yep, the problem’s there. IE 6 is all like “sidebar? what sidebar? oh, that one, way at the bottom?”

    IE’s box model is so whack. A while ago I decided to give up supporting it past the extent of having things at least accessible from it, and even then I’m rather blase to the whole ordeal.

    I’d just add the IE7 hacks and be done with it, rather than fooling with IE’s bogus CSS implementation - see http://dean.edwards.name/IE7/.

    Strange, it works for me with ie 6.0.2800.1106
